Think about looking and asking photo editors if they are willing to work with you for at least a year minimum. This will allow your editor to get to know your specific style and keep the edits running consistently. You might even find that you have someone that will be with you for multiple running years. To have a partnership like this is priceless! 

What kind of personality are you looking for? I think this is helpful to consider because you want to get along with your photo editor. You will be stepping into a partnership that could be a multiple year experience! Your work relationship together should be one that is easy for the both of you to communicate your needs and also to give critiques when needed, without feeling like you have to break ties immediately…

Will they be willing to be flexible with your needs? I have found that each of my clients are in need of different things in their business and I learned quickly I need to be willing to be flexible so I can meet the needs of all my clients. If you are finding that a potential photo editor is not willing to adjust something in their system to work for you and your business, it would be good to keep looking.
