When it comes to managing your photography business, one of the most crucial aspects is maintaining a consistent editing style. For many photographers, this means deciding how many sessions to send to their photo editor. Here’s why I encourage my clients to send all their sessions for editing, and how this approach can benefit your business in the long run.
Are you feeling like your edits are just not getting to where you are wanting them to? Maybe you feel your style changing from Moody to Light and Airy, or simply want to make a change of presets. Making a change like that is hard but it is not something you want to sleep on if you are struggling with loving and enjoying the work you are producing.
I am so excited to offer culling as a service to my clients! Did you know that for some photographers culling can take even longer than the editing process? You may find as a photographer that the best use of your outsourcing could be to send out your culling along with your edits.
My Goal when working together, is to get you as the photographer to a place where you are doing as little editing as possible. As in getting you to a point where you do not have to prep your catalog at all. You just go to your session and send me the rest! How does this work? Come read and find out!
I find that my clients gain back their time to not necessarily grow their business. The majority of my clients that hire me are using their extra time to be more present in their everyday moments of life.
When first starting to look for a private photo editor, you may find that you just don’t know where to start. Some things to consider before looking for a private photo editor is to ask yourself a few questions.
While it might feel overwhelming to start looking around to find the right help that you need, taking one first step will always lead you to another and eventually you will find the right photo editor that will fit your needs.
While most private photo editors have a certain and unique system to follow, I will share with you what the process would look like to work with me as a starting point!
